About the United Church of Christ
We are a small but dedicated community, active in the heart of Nulu. You can find us involved in many local events, including Bock Fest, Nulu Fest, the Kentuckiana Pride Parade, and Louisville Pride Festival. If you are ever on Market Street and see our doors are open, stop by for a visit!
For current events, see our announcement section of our weekly services, or visit our Linktree!
First Friday Hop
During the months of April through December, we are open on the First Friday of each month for those wishing to appreciate our beautiful sanctuary. We often have art exhibits in the Narthex, or musical guests in the Sanctuary, and on our grounds. Our hosts are eager to share our history and answer any questions visitors may have.
From May through September, our fellowship continues after worship each Sunday, weather permitting, as we gather in the Courtyard to share cookies and lemonade. As we enter fall, we'll pivot to apple cider or hot chocolate, to keep connecting as long as we can!
The Book Group
The Book Group includes both members and friends of St. John. They meet in the Parish House parlor one morning each month to discuss themes and opinions about the book they are currently reading. Fellowship often extends into lunch afterward.
